Berlin Day 2, Germany
The day started rainy and early with a trip to the Olympic Stadium, built for the 1936 Olympic games.

As the rain poured down it was teambuilding and picture time, before getting back on the bus. Next stop: Downtown Berlin – or at least so we thought. It turned out that there was a bicycle race in the center, which had pretty much closed down Berlin.

After a lot of driving the bus finally made it to Alexander Platz and from there the students had time on their own to explore the city. Most of us then went up the Unter Die Linden – a beautifully tree-lined road which leads to Brandenburger Tor, the Reichtag (The government) and the Holocaust museum. On the way there a lot of the students also chose to see Checkpoint Charlie.

Pick-up was at the famous 367 meter tall TV tower, and once again all of the students showed great discipline and was there on time – perfect!

After dinner at the hotel the students once again had the evening off to do whatever they felt like.
